Over 1,500 organizations compete annually for Military Friendly® designation. Results are produced via a rules-based algorithm. Of the 1,500 organizations that took the survey, 315 companies earned a spot on the 2022 Military Friendly® Employers list. For them, every day is Veterans Day. This year, Humana earned the #1 Military Friendly ® Employer designation for the second year in a row. Geographically, Military Friendly® Employers identified Texas as their top hiring region for veterans, with Virginia, California, North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Ohio, New York and Arizona rounding out the Top 10.
