Why Wilkinson was nominated for the Veteran Champions of the Year in Corporate America Award:

Prior to this individual coming into the role, there was no central strategy to support the hiring and retention of veterans into the organization. The nominee developed a cohesive strategy with leadership support to fully integrate a veteran strategy for our U.S operations. This nominee, even though not a veteran, has engulfed herself in understanding the needs of the military family to help develop key programs to support transitioning service men and women to help find civilian roles. This includes developing military spouse mentoring and support. The nominee has also built key relationships and partnerships with many local and national organizations to support thought leadership in identifying how best to maximize and support our veterans. Some of these are with SVA, Hiring our Heroes, Combined Arms, amongst many others.
