Roles & Responsibilities of last position in the military: Perform pre-flight, in-flight & post-flight inspection. Initialized, operated, monitored, tested and isolated malfunctions of voice and data communications equipment, adhering to communication security (COMSEC) measures, in support of the President of the United States and Joint Chiefs of Staff to direct U.S. Forces to execute emergency war orders if need arose.  Voice data (radio) and data communications were transmitted via LF, VLF, HF, VHF, UHF and SHF frequencies.

When looking for a civilian career, how did you research your options?

Honestly, I didn’t know what to look for or where to go.  I bounced from nursing to education to sales.  I didn’t find my true home until I found Hasbro.

What advice would you give to other transitioning veterans looking to join a civilian company?

Research companies that you are interested in.  Find a company with values that mirror what you bring for the best fit. Learn how to tell your story.
