Richard Comitz will serve as moderator for the G.I. Jobs Get Hired Workshop. As Senior Vice President, he works closely with ACP’s senior leadership team to manage relationships with corporate partners, develop dialogues with government and military leaders, and strengthen ACP’s internal operations and management. Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Comitz served in the US Army for more than 20 years. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a master’s degree in chemistry. He further obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Florida Institute of Technology in organic chemistry.

Jennifer is an experienced strategic leader in the Leadership, Learning  and Talent space with a successful track record in Leadership Development, Organizational Development and Talent Management. She has built multiple Learning and Talent Development departments, leading them through many organizational changes throughout her 25-year career, including New  York’s Department and Family Services, a Productivity Consulting Firm, Fidelity,  inVentiv Health, and most recently USAA. Jennifer was proud to join USAA on August  31, 2020, as the head of Talent Development & Learning for the Enterprise. Jennifer has a PhD from the University at Albany, where she studied both qualitative and quantitative Sociology specializing in leadership and organizations. She has a BA from Bard College.

Joshua is a Program Manager with University Programs, leading Corporate Risk Early Talent (CRET) programs. He joined Wells Fargo five years ago as part of the Wells Fargo Securities Early Talent Programs team and has experience with Military Talent Programs and DE&I Training Initiatives. While at Wells Fargo Joshua has led multiple highly visible, enterprise-level programs and initiatives including the VET Internship Program, Buddy Program, and most recently the BOLD sponsorship program. Joshua served honorably in the US Marine Corps as a non-commissioned officer from 2005-2009 with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines. He earned his MBA in HR and BSBA in HR from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. He’s also an HR Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), a Department of Labor certified Project Manager, and an alumnus of the Apprenticeship Program.

Meredith Dessoye is the AVP, Human Resources Lead for the Commercial Accounts Group for Business Insurance at Travelers. In her role, Meredith provides Human Resources strategy and consulting for nearly 800 Business Insurance employees across the country. Prior to Travelers, Meredith was the Director of Human Resources for the Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research, a premier life sciences research institution located in Ithaca, New York on the Cornell University campus. She also headed the HR function at Pro Action, the Community Action organization for Steuben and Yates Counties in New York. Meredith holds a BA in Advertising from Syracuse University and an Associates of Arts and Sciences from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She also is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
