William Newhouse

Regional Recruiter/Skillbridge Program Manager
Sunbelt Rentals
Marine Corps veteran

Hello, I am a Marine Corps veteran with an MOS of 7242 working in Air Control. Upon my separation I went through the DOD Hiring Our Heroes Skillbridge program where I interned with Sunbelt Rentals. Upon my completion of the program I was offered a role in Talent Acquisition/HR as a recruiter handling the Northeast Market. Closing on four years, I now handle a market that spans several dozen states while working on our Military Programs Team as a skillbridge manager. I truly appreciate this opportunity as I have the opportunity to help other veterans like me find meaningful employment during a service member’s most stressful life events.

Don Wright

Sr. Talent Relationship Manager
Rocket
Marine Corps veteran

Don Wright is a Marine Corps veteran and serves as a Senior Talent Relationship Manager for Rocket’s Veteran Hiring Program. He began his military career in 2004 as a helicopter technician and completed five deployments before separating from the Marine Corps as a Recruiter in 2014. Don’s background in recruiting opened the door for him to join Rocket (formerly Quicken Loans) as an entry-level recruiter, where his passion for supporting the military community quickly led him to a key role within the Veteran Hiring Program. He now leads all military-affiliated partnerships and events across the country. In his current role, Don focuses on connecting with military talent nationwide—educating service members, veterans and military spouses about how Rocket supports the military community and helping them explore career opportunities within the organization.

See you there!!!
