Nicole joined USAA in 2022 and is a Senior Talent Scout. She is a proud military spouse with her husband Clark serving in the Army for 12 years as a Platoon Sergeant in a Field Artillery unit. She has over 13 years of corporate and agency experience in Talent Acquisition and HR functions. She brings a diverse background working for fortune and global companies in the financial services, automotive and energy sectors like USAA, Schneider Electric, and Nissan Motor Corporation.
In her current role she strategically sources for challenging and niche roles while continuing to grow the military affiliated talent at USAA. She leads military affiliated recruitment events, workshops, and live panel’s with Hiring our Heroes, G.I. Jobs, and RecruitMilitary along with much more. In addition, she supports the hiring for top military talent into USAA’s fellowships while providing experienced coaching, mentoring, and support throughout the fellowship journey. She is passionate about USAA’s mission and supporting the military community personally and professionally.
Eric Airola

Eric Airola leads Military & Veteran Relations for J.B. Hunt Transport. In this role Eric works closely with business leadership and other stakeholders to develop and manage the military talent acquisition strategy, military transition programs, and veteran recognition and support programs. Additionally, he represents J.B. Hunt in community relations and other functions that serve to build and enhance brand equity.
Eric joined J.B. Hunt following six years as an infantry officer in the US Marine Corps. He served as a Rifle and Weapons Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer and the Aide de Camp to the Assistant Division Commander of the 1st Marine Division. His last assignment was as a staff officer at The Basic School in Quantico, Va.
Eric has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Carolina University, a Professional of Human Resources certification, and lives in Fayetteville, Ark., with his wife Denise. Their three daughters, three sons-in-law and two grandkids live nearby.

Dr. Andree’ M. Sutton, currently serves as the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Director of Operations, for the Veteran and Military Spouse Talent Engagement Program (VMSTEP). In this role, she leads a staff of professionals in support and management of Veterans, Military Spouse and Transitioning Service Member programs.
She previously served as the VA’s Chief of Reasonable Accommodation Services, within the Office of Resolution Management Diversity, and Inclusion. Previous positions include the VA’s Chief of Field Operations for the Veterans Employment Service Office (VESO) where she led a 30+ person virtual staff in a national effort to attract, recruit and retain Veterans into the VA workforce. She also represented the VA as the Veteran Employment Program Officer (VEPO) supporting the Presidential Executive Order 13518.
Dr. Sutton retired from the United States Air Force at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She holds a Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) degree from Arizona State University, a postgraduate degree (Ed.S.) in Marriage and Family Therapy and two master’s degrees.

He also serves as the host of VHA’s weekly career broadcast “Talk About It Tuesday” that airs each Tuesday at noon EST on LinkedIn. Mike served in the Army for 12 years and then joined the Air Force before retiring after 20 years of total service.

In this role, Nick leads the organization’s Corporate Social Sustainability and Philanthropy efforts within the communities where Schlumberger operates. In addition to Nick’s contributions to Schlumberger’s CSR efforts, he is also a Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) trailblazer and has championed positive change for people of color, disabled people, the LGBTQ and veteran community. In his previous role as Head of Global Veterans Affairs & Programs, Nick helped Schlumberger win the coveted Military Friendly Employer Award for the first time in 2018 and again in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Additionally, Nick established Schlumberger as the first Fortune 500 organization in the oil and gas industry to have a National Apprenticeship Program with the Department of Labor (DOL). Nick is a US Army Veteran and served in several combat deployments, including Operation Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Nick is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development (PLD). Before that, Nick graduated from the Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies Program for Professional Human Resource Development at Rice University and has a Bachelor of Science in Leadership (Magna Cum Laude) from Trident University in California.

As a member of the executive team, Payne contributes directly to the organization’s long and short-term strategic objectives while maximizing organizational effectiveness.
