Lindsey Lucca joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana in September 2017 as an Administrative Assistant and steadily climbed the ranks to her current position where her responsibilities include recruitment, facilitation of professional development workshops, and managing the survey creation and analysis for the Generation Blue Internship Program. In addition, Lindsey plays an active role in veteran and diversity recruitment while taking on the role of Co-Chair of the Veteran’s Employee Resource Group for the past three years.

Ms. Lucca served in the US Marine Corps from 2007 to 2012, achieving the rank of Corporal, where she oversaw the assigning of personnel to temporary assignments as well as managed the military awards system for the base. 

Lindsey moved to Louisiana in 2015 and earned an MBA with a concentration in human resource management from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Lindsey also holds two certifications: Employing Abilities at Work and Veterans at Work from the Society for Human Resource Management Foundation.

William joined Combined Insurance in 2017. He is responsible for managing and recruiting for Combined Insurance’s best-in-class Military Program. He is also responsible for attracting, hiring, retaining and supporting veterans, military spouses and family member talent into the organization. 

William is passionate about helping veterans and military spouses transition into the civilian workforce and find meaningful and rewarding careers at Combined Insurance. He was recognized as a 2021 Veteran Champion of the Year (VCOY) in Corporate America by G.I. Jobs® for championing the recruitment, hiring, retention and career advancement of US military veterans in corporate America.

Prior to joining Combined Insurance, William worked for a US senator. He served in multiple roles including Veterans Caseworker, Special Assistant, and Director of Veterans Outreach.

William served five years active duty in the US Army. During that time, he completed two overseas deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, with the 754th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit. 

William has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal & Social Justice from Lewis University in Illinois.

Dr. Sharon M. Ramp was born in Nashville, N.C. She enlisted in the US Army in January 1989 as a PV2. She was later commissioned as a 2LT upon graduation in 1996. Dr. Ramp served as a PATRIOT and Logistics Officer. She has commanded numerous units and stationed at various locations, including two combat tours. Dr. Ramp retired from the Army on December 1, 2013, with more than 23 years of active-duty service. While serving as a Commissioned Officer, she graduated from Murray State University with a Master of Science Degree, and later she completed a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership at the University of Phoenix. 

Immediately upon retiring from the Army, Dr. Ramp began working at the Department of Homeland Security in the Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate, the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office, and the Customs and Border Protection Directorate. Currently, Dr. Ramp serves as PrimCorp’s Veterans Program Director. In addition, she is an Adjunct Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) and the American Public University System for graduate-level management and supply chain management courses.

Terry Ammirati has been at Blue Shield of California for 11 years and prior to that, 23 years with Hewlett-Packard. She is a Business Process Analyst within the IT organization and has been the Veteran Employee Resource Group Co-chair for the past 3 years. She also serves as a board director for a local non-profit organization to bring employers together within the Sacramento Region so that veterans and their families may thrive in the area. She is a passionate advocate and alley bringing education and awareness to veteran issues and causes so that others may join in the fight. Both her stepfather and grandfather served in the armed services and feels immerse gratitude for the sacrifices and service they gave to our country.
