HSU, a private university located in Abilene, Texas, has been affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas since 1941. HSU provides an academically challenging undergraduate education based on a liberal arts foundation, and advances scholarly growth by offering specialized graduate and professional degree programs. HSU is located in a military community just minutes away from Dyess AFB and participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program. HSU has a dedicated individual to assist military members. HSU also has several veterans serving on the faculty, staff, and administration. We now have a Chambliss Scholarship for Veterans of $1.7 million.
