Job Description

Charles Edward Williams Jr., former First Sergeant in the Army, thought about owning his own business. He did research about different franchises and learned that 7-Eleven offers a military discount. Today, he is on-track to be a multi-unit franchisee with the convenience store chain.

Why Did You Choose This Franchise?

I was initially undecided about what I wanted to do when I retired. Then I thought about owning my own business. I looked online and did research about different franchises. I learned that 7-Eleven offers a military discount. When I was in high school I worked for 7-Eleven, so I was a little familiar with the company. All of this made me choose 7-Eleven.

What’s the Best Part of This Franchise?

Knowing that all the hard work you put into your store is worth it in the end when you realize the profit you earn.

What Was the Process Like to Get Started?

I financed it by using some of my savings and got a loan through 7-Eleven, Inc. It has been very successful for me. I am currently approved to be a multiple franchise store owner.
