If you’re interested in military history or want to learn more about the sacrifices our troops are making around the world right now, you’ll definitely want to check out the USO Theater.
You don’t need to buy a ticket to get into this free theater, which already includes 11 films produced by SnagFilms. Nor do you have to worry about a lame plot, endless unimaginative car chase scenes or three-and-a-half hour movies without a bathroom break. The longest movie posted so far is 115 minutes, but all of the films are 90 minutes or less.
You can learn how Arlington National Cemetery came to be hallowed ground, join Marines on missions in Iraq, return to the bloody beaches of Tarawa with a Marine who fought there in World War II, join a squad of Soldiers as they battle in the streets of Fallujah or relive the horror of the Huertgen Forest during World War II.
“Stories like these are so valuable because they don’t just tell you about our service members – they show you real men and women who are sacrificing for us,” said Sloan Gibson, president and CEO of the USO. “Together let’s honor our troops by taking the time to watch their stories.”
